SSD-POL-C47                              On the Seventh Day

7” x 8 1/8” - 99 stitches w by 114 stitches h

This counted cross-stitch design is from the beginning
of the bible about the creation of the earth.
The design is surrounded by a border featuring the colors -
scarlet, blue, purple, and gold - ordered to be used
when building the tabernacle tent for God.

On the seventh day, God rested.
The image in the center is of a blooming flower
to be enjoyed without having to put forth any effort,
thus allowing ‘rest’.

Above the center image is the wording
“ON THE SEVENTH DAY”
and below the center image is “REST”.
All whole stitches are used.

Materials needed:
Antique White Jobelan 28 count (429-101)
May also use Aida 14 count (357-101) OR
Country French Soft Touch Aida 14 count (367-101)
from Wichelt Imports.
(If the stitchery is to be used in a quilt,
the Jobelan evenweave and the Country French
Soft Touch Aida are wonderfully soft.)
