This counted cross-stitch design is of
a shaded cranberry decorative Christmas ornament
which is greatly enhanced by the use of
rayon threads to make it shiny,
gold metallic thread to make it extravagant,
and gold beads to make it opulent.  

Materials used for model:  
Antique White Jobelan 28 count and
Glass Seed Beads, Size 11,
from Wichelt Imports / Mill Hill.
(May also use Aida Country French Soft Touch
14 countfrom Wichelt Imports.)
DMC 6 strand Embroidery Floss,
DMC Rayon Floss, and
DMC Light Effects (metallic) Floss.
