This is a cross-stitch design of an amusing
response to the recommendation to exercise. The
lounge chair and the various exercise equipment
that forms the border, can be thought of as
masculine. The border is created by backstitching
only as it represents equipment which is only a
thought, not a reality. Whole stitches are used for
the message in this design, and for the chair.
Evenweave is recommended for ease of stitching
the border.
Materials needed:
Antique White Jobelan 28 count (429-101) from
Wichelt Imports.
DMC 6 strand embroidery floss
